Training

EMHware provides various training courses to suit any agency requirements. Standard courses are designed for half-day sessions of small groups of approximately 12 participants. Customized training sessions for larger groups can be accommodated.

EMHware offers a wide variety of curriculum that includes personalized scenarios built from participant feedback and question/answer periods. We provide professional courses on the following subjects:

  • Best Practices and Awareness: Covers the basic principles behind CDS, MIS, CAPS and OCAN data collection methods. Information covered includes basic data quality conventions and examines several different styles of information collection. Participants learn and practice collection techniques including situational questioning styles for behavioral cases. (Intended for all agency workers.)
  • Workflow with EMHware: Includes high-level understanding of MOHLTC's Workflow for client-to-agency interaction. Also provides scenarios for implementing agency practices to meet all reporting requirements. Finally an interactive segment where participant input is used to construct relevant examples of how EMHware should be used in their specific case. (Intended for all EMHware users.)
  • Client Contacts with EMHware: Covers multiple examples of client contact and how EMHware is best used. Participants solve prebuilt examples and work to build personalized scenarios and solutions. It is intended for workers who interact with clients and report client dataset, notes, evaluations or contact times. (Intended for all EMHware users.)
  • Reporting and Improving Data Quality: Includes instructions for maximizing the quality of all captured data. Participants are also taught to use data reporting tools to improve data quality values and reduce suspicious information. (Intended for EMHware administrators and manager users.)
  • OCAN - Front-line Techniques: OCAN assessment theory and technical method instruction are included in this rich course intended for workers responsible for OCAN assessments at any level. Trainer-guided scenarios portion incorporates into each session from participant input to maximize tutorial effectiveness.
  • OCAN - Management and Submissions: Provides best-practices for managing OCAN XML submissions and result reporting. Also includes an explanation to maximizing EMHware OCAN data capture quality and system report capabilities.(Intended for EMHware administrators and manager users.)

In addition to training courses, EMHware also provides application help screens for quick assistance while using specific interfaces. EMHware can also provide registered users with a Support section with access to additional solution documentation and tutorial material.
