Getting Started with EMHware 

EMHware’s base model offers ample features to support most organizations. Our user-friendly interface makes it easy to get started. When you first log into the system, you’re taken to the Calendar View.  

This calendar is specific to the user. You can adjust the calendar to a monthly, weekly, or daily view. You can also allow others in your organization to view your schedules.  

EMHware 101 – Client Files

The Global Tabs 

Across the top of the screen, you’ll find the Global Tabs. Global Tabs are used when you’re performing an action for more than one client and include: 

  • Appointments  
  • Contacts 
  • Case Notes 
  • Case Data 
  • Referrals 

Next to the Global Tabs, in the upper right-hand corner, is the Client Tab. By clicking on the client tab, you’ll reveal your client list. From there, you can access your individual client files.  

Once you’ve selected a client’s file, you’ll be taken to their Client Summary Page. Along the top you’ll find the Client Tabs that include: 

  • Appointments  
  • Contacts 
  • Case Notes 
  • Case Data 
EMHware 101 – Intro to Reporting

Further down the page, you’ll find Program History. This component tracks and manages an organization’s different programs. It provides various functions, such as tracking the screening process and receiving services, managing the wait list, discharge, and screening process. 

The Appointment Tab can be integrated with Outlook and manages your client’s appointments.  

The Contacts Tab tracks your interactions with your client, from when you saw them and for how long. It can also store the case notes, and details about the outcomes and next steps. 

The Client Events tracks relevant events in your client’s life such as recent hospitalizations, changes in their guardianship, information about their primary income sources. and more!

EMHware’s Reporting Suite summarizes all the data elements gathered in these various sections. The reports can be exported as an Excel file, a PDF, and direct print.
